The Regional Comparative and Explanatory Study (ERCE) is designed to measure learning achievement and study it in relation to characteristics of the students, their families, their teachers and their schools. ERCE has almost 25 years of history, where its development started in 1995 and has since been implemented in almost all spanish speaking countries.
